Blüthner Model 1

The soundboard damage on this instrument was extensive, with loose ribs and cracks right up to and underneath the bridges. This can occur due to extreme fluctuations in humidity over the years. The rib joints needed to be repaired, the soundboard shimmed and refinished, the instrument restrung, and the action regulated and voiced.
